Central Europe 1400 -1100 BC. These shields have loops on the rear, probably ment for suspension from a baldrick. Would fit the Naue II and contemporary swords. Round, 44 cm diameter, domed profile (model image).

Central and Northern Europe 1300 - 1000 BC. Would fit both the Naue II and the Hemigkofen sword.

The type Herzprung proper was used in the period 1050-700 BC and would fit younger sword types, from type Hemigkofen and later.
